A small decorative ceramic cream jug or pitcher, featuring tubelined floral decoration in the style of mid-20th century English potteries such as Crown Devon or Royal Winton. The vessel is constructed of white-glazed earthenware with a squat, ovoid body, a scalloped rim, a small pinched spout, and a spreading pedestal foot. The exterior is decorated with hand-painted floral and foliate motifs, including a multi-petalled pink flower and stylised yellow and blue blossoms, all set within raised gilded outlines. Green leaves with red-dotted accents complement the central motifs, while the rim and foot are finished with a sage-green glaze and gilded borders. No maker’s marks are visible in the provided image. A small white adhesive sticker with the numeral 2 and an orange price tag are attached to the exterior.
Height: Approximately 8 cm – 12 cm.
Condition report:
The item shows extensive fine crazing to the cream-coloured glaze across the entire surface. There is minor wear to the gilded accents, particularly around the rim. No visible chips, cracks, or repairs are noted from the primary angle.
