Lot 152: A Set of Cut Glass Pedestal Dessert Bowls
A set of cut crystal dessert bowls, each of hemispherical form raised on a short integral pedestal foot. The bodies are decorated with a repeating pattern of cut sunburst or star motifs within diamond-cut borders, finished with a scalloped fan-cut rim. The circular bases feature radial starburst cutting. The clarity and sharp faceting suggest lead crystal. Some pieces retain small orange stock labels, one marked 152. These items are characteristic of 20th-century crystal manufacture, resembling patterns produced by Marquis by Waterford.
Condition report:
The glass appears clear and bright without obvious signs of clouding or sickness. No large chips or cracks are visible to the rims or feet from the overview provided.
