A set of vintage dominoes of traditional two-tone construction, featuring cream-coloured faces and black backs. The tiles appear to be made from bone or a similar early composite material mounted on ebonised wood bases. Several tiles are fitted with central brass pivots, commonly known as spinners. The set is housed in its original rectangular cardboard box, which bears a handwritten orange lot tag numbered 144 and a faint handwritten mark on the interior base.
Condition report:
The dominoes show signs of age and use, including surface wear, minor chipping, and discolouration. The cardboard box is in poor condition with heavy structural damage, tears, and significant surface wear. Completeness of the set is unverified.
