A collection of decorative items featuring traditional fox hunting motifs. The group includes a rectangular metal gallery tray with a pierced gold-tone rim and twin handles, featuring a base decorated with a printed scene of hunters on horseback and hounds. Resting on the tray is an anthropomorphic figurine of a fox dressed in a black top hat and coat, seated in a small wheeled carriage; the piece appears to be made from painted resin or ceramic. These items are positioned on a folding wooden stand or lap tray with a circular inset hunting scene. A light-coloured folding table is also visible in the background. No maker’s marks, signatures, or factory stamps are discernible. Small orange adhesive labels with the number 137 are present on the figurine and the wooden base.
Condition report:
The items are in good used condition with some age-related surface wear. Light abrasions and scratches are present on the wooden stand and metal tray surfaces. The printed decoration on the tray remains intact with minor surface marks. No visible chips, cracks, or restorations are noted.
