Lot 82: A Collection of English Imari Palette Porcelain Tea Wares
A collection of English porcelain tea wares decorated in a traditional Imari palette. The set comprises multiple teacups, a stack of matching saucers, and two square twin-handled cake plates with canted corners. The decoration features central floral sprays and cobalt blue panels with gilded highlights, enclosed by green and orange geometric lattice borders. The items are crafted from white glazed porcelain with hand-enamelled details over a transfer-printed base. Several items bear orange adhesive labels with the number 82 and one plate has a small white tag numbered 7.
Condition report:
The items are in generally good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or restoration. There is some minor surface wear and light rubbing to the gilded rims and highlights consistent with age and domestic use.
