An assortment of mid-20th-century costume jewellery brooches featuring various designs and settings. The collection includes a fan-shaped brooch pavé-set with blue and clear faceted rhinestones, a large silver-tone circular brooch with a prominent central pink glass cabochon and clear rhinestone accents, and a gold-tone foliate brooch set with yellow stones. Also present is a gold-tone circular brooch with an openwork design. The items are constructed from silver-tone and gold-tone base metals. The collection is housed in a rectangular, fabric-covered jewellery box with a purple exterior and a bright pink interior lining, featuring a faceted purple bead and loop closure. No maker marks are visible on the reverse of the items pictured.
Condition report:
The items are in good vintage condition with minor surface wear to the metal finishes consistent with age. All larger stones appear present; however, close inspection is required to confirm the presence of all smaller pavé-set stones. The presentation box shows minor signs of use but remains structurally sound with a functional closure.
