Lot 524: A Trio of Brass-Tone Table Lamps with Floral Glass Shades
A trio of matching electric table lamps designed in the style of traditional oil lamps. Each lamp features a polished brass-tone metal base with a stepped circular foot and a fluted central column rising to a decorative burner-style gallery. The lamps are fitted with tulip-form glass shades characterised by a frosted white finish and scalloped rims. Each shade is decorated with a transfer-printed polychrome floral sprig in shades of orange and brown with green foliage. Each unit is equipped with a white plastic electrical flex and a standard UK three-pin plug, one of which is marked FUSED. No manufacturer marks are visible on the exterior of the components. One lamp features a small orange lot sticker marked S24 on the central column.
Condition report:
The lamps are in good used condition with minor surface wear and light oxidation to the metal surfaces consistent with age. The glass shades appear free from significant chips or cracks. The electrical components are untested; these items are sold as decorative objects and must be PAT tested by a qualified electrician before being put into use.
