A mid-20th-century folding card or bridge table, attributed to Vono. The table features a square top with an inset green baize textile playing surface held within a stained hardwood frame, likely beech. It is supported by four square, tapering legs designed to fold flat against the underside for storage. A small white adhesive label with the digits 3 3 is attached to one edge of the frame, likely representing an auction lot or inventory number. No permanent maker marks are visible on the exterior surfaces.
Condition report:
The table is in well-used, fair condition. The green baize surface shows significant wear, including staining, surface pilling, and several small holes. The wooden frame and legs exhibit extensive scuffing, scratches, and areas of finish loss consistent with age and regular use. The folding mechanism is present but its operation has not been tested.
