Lot 492: Two Woven Baskets comprising a Rectangular Tray and a Lidded Picnic Hamper
A group of two items consisting of a shallow rectangular woven tray and a lidded willow picnic hamper. The tray is crafted from a heavy, rope-style natural fibre weave and features integrated handles wrapped in dark brown material. The picnic hamper is constructed from dark-stained willow with a hinged lid, a leather top handle, and a central leather fastening strap with a brass-toned metal buckle. Both pieces bear orange adhesive labels with the handwritten number 492.
Condition report:
Both items exhibit minor surface wear and light scuffing to the leather components consistent with use. Generally in sound structural condition.
