Lot 396: A Contemporary Pine Side Table in the George III Style
A side or console table of pine construction with a warm honey-coloured finish. The design incorporates a solid rectangular top over two drawers, each fitted with decorative brass batwing style backplates and bail pulls. The table is supported by four square tapered legs. This piece is a modern reproduction in a traditional British provincial style.
Condition report:
Visible surface wear throughout consistent with age and use. The top surface displays several scratches, small indentations, and faint water stains. The legs show scuffing and minor knocks, primarily around the base.
