An oak occasional table in the Jacobean style, being the largest table from a nest. The design is characteristic of the Old Charm range by Wood Bros, featuring a solid oak rectangular top with a moulded edge. Below the top is a deep-carved frieze with a repeating lunette and foliate scroll pattern. The table stands on four turned baluster and block legs, united by a low-level perimeter stretcher. Traditional pegged mortise and tenon joinery is visible throughout the frame. Finished in a dark oak stain.
Condition report:
The table is in fair to good used condition. The top surface exhibits visible scuffs, scratches, and wear to the finish consistent with age and domestic use. There is an accumulation of dust and cobwebs around the stretchers and underside from storage. The structural integrity of the piece remains sound.
