An Art Deco period frameless wall mirror of shaped, elongated octagonal form. The mirror plate features wide bevelled edges and a delicate etched floral and foliate spray to the top centre. The glass is secured to a wooden backing board by four decorative metal clips. A white adhesive lot tag is present on the left side, featuring the handwritten number 367 and 10. A small orange rectangular sticker is visible near the top centre of the glass. No maker’s marks or manufacturer labels are visible on the front of the item.
Condition report:
The mirror plate shows signs of age-related wear, including visible foxing and silvering loss, particularly concentrated along the lower edge and around the mounting clips. There are general surface marks and fine scratches consistent with age and use.
