Lot 361: A Large Bronzed Resin Model of an African Elephant
A large decorative figure of an African elephant, naturalistically modelled in a walking pose with its trunk raised. The piece is constructed from a composite resin material, featuring a heavily textured surface finished with a bronzed and gilt-effect patina to simulate aged metal. The elephant is depicted with large, smooth, cream-coloured tusks. No factory marks or signatures are present on the exterior. The figure includes two temporary orange stickers marked 361 and 359.
Condition report:
The figure is in good overall condition. There is minor surface wear and rubbing to the gilt finish on raised areas, such as the ears and trunk, consistent with age and handling. No significant chips, cracks, or repairs are visible.
