Attributed to Bing and Grøndahl, this glazed porcelain figurine depicts a parrot perched upon a naturalistic branch-form base. The piece is decorated in a palette of peach and soft pink glazes to the body, with contrasting blue wings and tail. The bird features a dark-pigmented beak and painted brown eyes, while the branch is finished in a pale grey-white glaze. The form corresponds to model number 2019, designed by Jeanne Grut for the Danish manufacturer. No maker marks are visible to the exterior surfaces. Two adhesive labels are present: a white rectangular sticker printed with the numbers 17 17 and an orange tag with the handwritten characters 191.

The figurine appears to be in good overall condition with no chips, cracks, or signs of restoration visible. Temporary adhesive labels are present on the surface which may leave a residue upon removal.
