Lot 190: Ceramic dapple grey Hunter horse figurine in the style of Beswick

The horse is depicted with a neatly plaited mane and a high-gloss finish. The coat is decorated with grey and brownish-grey dappling over a pale ground, featuring dark points on the muzzle, ears, and tail, and white markings on the lower legs. The modelling and glaze style are characteristic of mid-20th-century animal figurines produced in the Staffordshire potteries, resembling the Hunter model 1548 by Beswick.
