A mid-20th-century decorative ceramic figurine of a rearing horse, produced in the style of the Beswick Welsh Cob, model number 1014. The piece is finished in a uniform, high-gloss black glaze. The horse is modelled in a dynamic rearing pose with its front legs tucked and its head turned, featuring a textured mane and tail. It stands on an integral, irregularly shaped base with a textured surface. An orange rectangular adhesive label is present on the upper surface of the base with the hand-written numerals 182. No maker’s marks, model numbers, or factory stamps are clearly visible in the provided image.


Condition report:

The figurine appears to be in good overall condition. The high-gloss glaze is intact and shows no visible chips, cracks, or evidence of professional repair. There is some minor surface residue and white markings on the base near the rear of the horse.
