Lot 181: A Zebra Print Stencilled Cowhide Rug
A large animal hide rug featuring a stencilled zebra-style pattern. The piece is composed of a natural cowhide with a tan-coloured ground and dark brown to black stripes applied to mimic a zebra pattern. The rug displays a natural irregular hide shape and the characteristic texture of hair-on hide. There is a small white rectangular tag attached to the lower-left edge and a small orange rectangular tag on the right side, both of which contain illegible markings.
Condition report:
Generally good condition. There are visible creases resulting from the hide being folded and draped. No significant balding, holes, or tears are apparent from visual inspection.
