Lot 153: An Assortment of Vintage Electronics and Optical Equipment including a Viscount Slide Viewer and Transistor Radios
A collection of vintage and modern electronics, optical equipment, and accessories. The assortment features a Viscount Viewer for 35mm slides, contained within its original red cardboard box displaying gold-toned lettering and a stylized logo. Included is a retro-style portable transistor radio with a red plastic cabinet, a vertical tuning dial, and three silver-toned control knobs. The lot also contains a military-style signalling lamp in a green-painted metal case, fitted with a thick green glass lens and a hinged protective cover. A modern silver-toned portable digital radio with an FM/AM band and numeric keypad is present. Additional items include a boxed Bipra USB 2.0 to SATA/IDE adapter with power adapter, a tan leatherette carrying pouch, and a larger grey textured equipment case.
Condition report:
The items are in used condition and exhibit various signs of age and wear. The red Viscount Viewer box shows scuffing to the edges and handwritten ink annotations. The lens of the green signalling lamp shows heavy surface texturing or weathering. The plastic cabinets of the radios show light surface scratches. The boxed adapter packaging shows minor shelf wear. All electronic and optical items are untested and their operational status is unknown.
