Lot 133: Vintage Japanese Condor Gun
A vintage Japanese spring-action projectile toy gun, identified by marks as the Condor Gun. The item is constructed from painted pressed steel, featuring a blue-painted body and a red-painted stock. The blue section is lithographed with gold-coloured lettering reading CONDOR GUN, MADE IN JAPAN, and PAT. NO. 4563. The red stock displays a gold-coloured decal depicting a stylised bird with outstretched wings flanked by two stars, positioned above the words TRADE MARK. The toy features an exposed external spring mechanism and a red ribbed slide-action cocking handle. A gold-coloured trigger is housed within a protective guard.
Condition report:
The toy displays signs of age and play-wear, including visible paint loss and surface scratches across both the blue and red surfaces. A small orange auction lot sticker with the number 133 is present on the side of the stock. The mechanical function of the spring mechanism is untested. No projectiles or original packaging are included.
