Lot 101: An Assortment of Vintage Decorative Glassware, Stemware and Ceramic Plates
A collection of vintage decorative glassware and household tableware. The lot includes a clear pressed glass lidded compote of rectangular form with vertical ribbing and a pierced lace-style border, in the style of manufacturers such as Imperial Glass. Also present is a clear glass ‘Hen on Nest’ two-piece novelty dish with feather-moulded detail and a beaded rim. The collection features a clear glass cake dome with vertical fluted decoration, paired with a circular wooden base. Included is a deep ruby red glass decanter with a textured bulbous body and a clear glass stopper with a flame finial. The assortment is further comprised of a group of clear glass stemware with faceted bowls and several plain tan-coloured ceramic side plates. No manufacturer marks are visible on the pieces.
Condition report:
The items are in good overall condition, showing typical signs of previous use. No significant cracks, large chips, or major structural damage were observed. Minor surface scratches and shelf wear consistent with age may be present.
