Lot 357: Blamp, Colin Williamson, and Another, A Trio of Framed Topographical Works on Paper

The auction will start in __ days and __ hours

Start price: £2

Buyer's Premium:

A collection of three framed topographical works on wove paper. The first work is a pen and ink drawing depicting a Parisian scene featuring the Eiffel Tower and the River Seine. It is signed upper right: Blamp. The second work is a detailed monochrome architectural study of a Gothic cathedral, likely York Minster, executed as a fine ink drawing or print. The third work is a graphite pencil drawing of a street scene, titled lower left: The Shambles, York, and signed lower right: Colin Williamson. All three works are housed in matching modern black frames with silvered inner beads. No verso labels are visible.

Condition report:

The Parisian scene by Blamp shows a vertical crease towards the right edge of the paper. The graphite drawing of The Shambles by Colin Williamson exhibits significant foxing throughout the upper half of the sheet. The architectural study of the cathedral appears in generally good condition. The matching frames show minor surface wear consistent with age and handling.
