A Trio of Items Comprising Two Mantel Clocks and a Carved Wooden Box
A trio of decorative items including two mantel clocks and a carved wooden box. The first clock is a miniature mantel or boudoir clock by Estyma, featuring a black composite case with a floral transfer decal to the side and gold-tone scroll accents. The cream-coloured dial displays Arabic numerals, luminous hour markers, and gold-tone hands, with the dial marked Estyma and Great Britain. The second item is a novelty mantel clock in the form of a ship’s wheel mounted on a circular base, constructed from a light-coloured wood such as oak. The dial features a brown centre with Roman numeral markers on a white ring and ornate gold-tone hands, with the base bearing a handwritten ink inscription reading Luleå Sweden. The third item is a circular wooden box with a removable lid, featuring chip-carved floral decoration and a turned central finial.
The items are in used condition and both clocks are untested for working order. The Estyma clock shows light surface wear and minor scratches to the case. The ship\'s wheel clock exhibits some light scuffing to the wooden spokes and base. The carved wooden box shows natural variations in the wood grain and light surface dust.
