Lot 60: Two ceramic table lamps of baluster and ginger jar form
This lot comprises two ceramic table lamps of differing designs. The first lamp features a ceramic baluster-form body with a pale yellow ground, decorated with purple floral sprays and blue butterflies. It is mounted on a metal base and cap with a brass-effect finish. This lamp is fitted with a white cable and a standard UK three-pin plug. A silver safety sticker on the socket is marked LAMPSHAPE MAX 100W. The second lamp is of ginger-jar form with a dark blue ground, decorated with large yellow sunflower motifs. It is mounted on a dark, wood-effect turned base with a brass-effect central column and socket. This lamp is fitted with a gold-tone cable and a standard UK three-pin plug. Both lamps are presented without shades. These items are sold as untested. It is strongly recommended that all electrical goods are inspected and tested by a qualified electrician before being connected to a power supply.
Condition report:
Both lamps appear to be in good overall condition. The yellow lamp retains an orange price sticker on the body. The blue sunflower lamp retains an auction lot sticker numbered 88 and an orange price sticker on the body. No visible chips, cracks, or significant damage to the ceramic bodies. Minor surface wear to the bases and metal fittings is consistent with use.
