A Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor Memovox automatic wristwatch. The stainless steel case is equipped with three compressor crowns. The silvered dial features luminescent Arabic numerals at the 6, 9, and 12 o’clock positions, baton hour markers, and a date aperture at 3 o’clock. The dial also incorporates a central rotating alarm indicator disc with a red-tipped arrow and an internal rotating timing bezel. The dial is signed Jaeger-LeCoultre, Memovox, Automatique, and Swiss Made. The watch is mounted on a brown leather strap with contrasting white stitching and a pin buckle. Reference number 146.8.97. Case size approximately 41.5mm.
Condition report:
The watch is in overall good aesthetic condition. The stainless steel case and bezel show light surface scratches and minor scuffs consistent with regular wear. The sapphire crystal appears clear. The brown leather strap shows significant signs of wear, including creasing and darkening from use. The watch was ticking at the time of cataloguing; however, full mechanical functionality, including the alarm and timekeeping accuracy, has not been tested.
