The first item features a circular glass lens housed within a silver-toned metal rim, possibly nickel or chrome-plated. It is fitted with an ergonomic, open-form wire handle attached via a folding hinge. The second item consists of a circular glass lens set in a brass rim, featuring a short, turned brass stem terminating in a small, oval-shaped ring handle. No maker’s marks, hallmarks, or engravings are present on the rims or handles of either piece. Both lenses currently bear white rectangular identification stickers marked 18 18.
Condition report:
Both lenses exhibit good optical clarity. The mechanical hinge on the folding magnifier is in functional working order. There is light surface wear and minor tarnishing to the metal components consistent with age and use. No cases are present.
