Lot 583: Ortak Apple Motif Pendant Necklace and Stud Earring Set
A matching jewellery set by Ortak, Orkney Islands, Scotland, comprising a pendant necklace and a pair of stud earrings. Each piece features a polished yellow-toned metal motif in the shape of a stylized apple. The lower section of each apple is inset with three small, clear, circular-cut faceted stones. The pendant is suspended from a fine yellow-toned metal trace link chain which secures with a bolt ring clasp. The set is presented in its original brown velvet-style box with a cream-coloured lining, featuring the printed Ortak maker’s mark.
Condition report:
The set is in good, wearable condition. The metalwork and stones show no significant damage or loss. The clasp is functional. The presentation box is in good condition with minor signs of handling.
