Lot 500: A Pair of Weathered Reconstituted Stone Campana Form Garden Urns
A pair of garden urns of classical campana form, manufactured from reconstituted cast stone. Each urn features a flared rim decorated with a moulded repeat pattern above a gadrooned lower body. The vessels are supported by fluted stems resting on integral square plinth bases. The items are consistent with 20th-century British garden ornament production. No maker marks, stamps, or signatures are visible on the exterior or interior surfaces of either piece.
Condition report:
Both urns exhibit significant weathering and surface patination resulting from prolonged outdoor exposure. There is heavy moss and lichen growth across the surfaces, along with general darkening of the stone. The items appear structurally sound with no major visible cracks or structural losses.
