A large terracotta garden planter of rounded, bulbous form featuring a wide, flat rim. The vessel is constructed from terracotta and exhibits a classical utilitarian design. A small orange adhesive label is present on the rim with the handwritten digits 414. No other maker marks, stamps, or inscriptions are visible on the exterior or rim. The planter currently contains a large, desiccated shrub or topiary plant.
Condition report:
The planter shows significant weathering and a natural patina consistent with outdoor exposure. There is extensive dark organic staining, including moss and algae, across the exterior surface. Minor surface abrasions and small chips are visible around the rim. Sold as-is with the included dried plant material.
