A pair of rectangular garden troughs or planters manufactured from reconstituted stone. Each planter features a classical design with moulded borders and relief-cast decoration consisting of floral swags and garland motifs on the side panels. The style is typical of 20th-century British garden ornaments. No legible characters, symbols, or makers marks are visible on the exterior surfaces.
Condition report:
Both items exhibit heavy weathering consistent with long-term outdoor use, including an established patina of lichen and moss. There are minor chips and surface abrasions to the corners and rims. One planter has a small orange adhesive label present. Both are currently filled with soil and weeds.
