Live auction will start in __ days and __ hours

Start price: £2

Buyer's Premium:

A portable folding workshop vice and workbench of late 20th-century design. The unit features two rectangular wooden jaws, likely constructed from composite timber or plywood, mounted on a blue painted tubular and pressed steel frame. The vice mechanism is operated by two front-mounted black plastic winding handles. The frame is designed to fold for storage and transport, supported by black plastic feet. No maker’s marks, logos, or stamps are visible on the components, although a small orange adhesive label remains on one wooden jaw. This item is characteristic of DIY and professional workshop equipment commonly used in the United Kingdom during the latter part of the 20th century.

Condition report:

Heavily used workshop-worn condition. The wooden jaws exhibit significant surface wear, including numerous scratches, indentations, and extensive paint splashes in white, green, and black. Minor delamination and chipping are present on the timber edges. The blue metal frame shows general paint loss, surface scuffs, and accumulated workshop debris. The folding mechanism and vice operation have not been tested for smooth movement.
