Lot 469: A Pair of Steel Sash Clamps
A pair of modern sash clamps constructed from ferrous metal. These woodworking tools feature long steel bars with a series of pre-drilled adjustment holes along their length for positioning the clamping heads. The items are of a standard design common in British carpentry and joinery workshops. One clamp bears a handwritten paper tag identifying the lot as two sash clamps, while a secondary printed tag reads SECOND. No manufacturer marks or brand names are visible on the tools. The items are currently contained within clear plastic protective wrapping.
Condition report:
The clamps are in used condition with visible signs of age and workshop use. There is evidence of minor surface oxidation on the steel bars. The mechanical function of the clamping mechanisms has not been tested, and the tools remain in their protective packaging.
