Lot 459: Two fabric-covered dressmaker's mannequin torsos
Two fabric-covered dressmaker’s mannequin torsos of varying sizes. The group consists of a smaller white form and a larger pale green form, both of which are armless and headless. The larger torso includes a dark-finished neck cap. Both items bear orange adhesive labels transcribed with the characters 459. The neck cap of the larger form features a small white label showing the characters 17. No legible manufacturer’s marks are present.
Condition report:
Both items are in a used condition. The white torso shows significant surface soiling and staining. The larger pale green torso exhibits minor fabric snags and surface wear consistent with age and professional use.
