Lot 448: A Trio of 20th Century Oak Nesting Tables in the Jacobean Style
A trio of oak nesting tables dating from the 20th century, designed in the Tudor or Jacobean revival taste. Each table features a solid rectangular oak top with visible grain, finished in a dark stain. The bases are constructed with baluster-form turned legs terminating in square blocks, all joined by rectangular peripheral stretchers. The tables are designed to slot together for storage. No manufacturer marks or labels are visible on the surfaces, although a small orange adhesive label is present on the top of the largest table.
Condition report:
The tables are in fair used condition. There is visible wear throughout, including scuffs, scratches, and finish loss to the legs and edges. The tops show some surface marking and light fading consistent with age and use.
