The piece features a rectangular top over a single-shelf trough suitable for books or magazines, enclosed by baluster-turned spindles to the front and rear. The structure is supported by shaped side panels terminating in block feet. No manufacturer marks or inscriptions are visible on the body of the item. The top surface has a small orange adhesive label and a small white adhesive label with illegible characters. A white rectangular hanging tag with the handwritten number 216 is attached to a central spindle. The construction is solid and non-sectional.
Condition report:
The item shows minor surface wear, scuffs, and scratches consistent with age and use. Adhesive labels and residue are present on the top surface. The joinery appears stable and the piece is structurally sound.
