Lot 440: A contemporary light oak media cabinet with two drawers
A contemporary media cabinet or television stand constructed from light oak with veneered panels. The unit is of single-piece construction and features a recessed plinth base. The upper portion consists of an open shelf with a circular cable-management aperture cut into the back panel. Below the shelf are two full-width drawers. The drawers are fitted with two antiqued brass-effect metal bale handles with decorative circular backplates. The design is similar to golden oak furniture produced by manufacturers such as Palliser. No maker’s marks are visible on the exterior surfaces.
Condition report:
The cabinet shows signs of light use and wear consistent with age. There are minor scuffs and marks to the top surface. A small yellow sticker is present on the top and a white tag is attached to the upper drawer handle. The hardware is intact and the drawers appear to function correctly.
