Lot 382: A 20th-century Georgian style mahogany-toned wall-mounted plate rack with drawers
A wall-mounted display or plate rack in the Georgian reproduction style, dating from the late 20th century. The piece is constructed from mahogany-toned wood, featuring flame mahogany veneers and cross-banded inlay on the drawer fronts. The layout includes three fixed vertical compartments designed to hold plates or similar flatware, secured by shaped cutouts in the top and bottom rails. A vertical bank of four small drawers is situated on the right side of the unit. Each drawer is fitted with a brass-tone drop handle. The vertical supports are finished with decoratively shaped serpentine front edges. No maker’s marks or labels are present on the item, though a small orange rectangular sticker is located on the top rail.

The item presents in good condition with minor surface wear and light scratches to the wood finish consistent with age and domestic use. The structure is sound, and all drawers and handles are present and functional.
