Lot 371: A Trio of Artworks including Anne Cotterill (British, 1933-2010), 'Rural Landscape with Cottage' (Signed)
A trio of framed artworks comprising a landscape watercolour, a metallic foil print, and a figurative orchard scene. The first work is a watercolour on paper by Anne Cotterill (British, 1933-2010) depicting a rural scene with a thatched cottage and stone wall. The work is signed Anne Cotterill and is housed in a glazed dark wood frame with a gilt inner edge. The second work is a Dufex metallic foil fantasy art print by Jean and Ron Henry, titled ‘The Fairy Wedding’. The illustrative scene depicts winged fairy figures amongst bulrushes and a castle against a night sky, set in a dark wood frame with a gilt fillet. The third work is a figurative scene depicting a person in a white dress with a ladder in an orchard, appearing to be an oil on board or a print on board, presented in a wide, moulded wooden frame.
Condition report:
The collection appears to be in good overall condition. There are no obvious signs of tearing, foxing, or significant damage to the artworks or frames. Glazed surfaces exhibit some surface reflections. An orange auction lot sticker is present on the lower left corner of the glass on the fantasy print.
