Two military figurines depicting Napoleonic-era soldiers. The larger figure represents a standing officer, possibly a French Dragoon, dressed in a dark blue tunic with red facings, gold-coloured buttons, and grey trousers with a red stripe. The figure wears a gilt-style helmet with a black horsehair crest and stands on an irregular rocky-textured base with a hand resting on a sword hilt. The second, smaller-scale figure depicts a mounted hussar on a dark bay horse, wearing a tall busby with a red bag and gold-coloured cords, mounted on a circular dark-stained wooden plinth. Both items are crafted from painted composition or cold-cast resin with a matte, hand-painted finish. No manufacturer marks, signatures, or model numbers are visible on the exterior surfaces.
Condition report:
Both items show signs of minor surface wear and scuffing to the paint, notably on the hands and base edges of the standing figure and the hindquarter of the horse. Light dust accumulation is present in recessed areas. No major chips, breaks, or repairs are evident. Both figures bear orange adhesive auction labels numbered 314.
