Lot 3:
A small indoor watering can of cylindrical form, constructed from sheet copper with a soldered body and a long, tapering spout. The item features two handles: a fixed overhead strap handle and a smaller C-scroll loop handle at the rear. The overhead handle is secured with a decorative heart-shaped brass bracket and rivets. The exterior is in a bright, polished state. No maker’s marks are visible on the exterior surfaces. The item features a white adhesive sticker with the printed characters 8 8 and an orange sticker with the handwritten character 3. This form is typical of 20th-century utility wares, often associated with British or French household manufacture.
The item is in a bright, polished state with some minor surface scratches, light oxidation, and small areas of tarnish consistent with age and use. No significant dents or structural damage are visible.
