A Collection of Assorted Decorative and Functional Art Glass
A collection of assorted decorative and functional glassware featuring a variety of colours and techniques. The group includes a pair of frosted glass shades of flared bell form, a large amber-coloured glass bowl with a faceted interior, and an amber glass tumbler. Also present is a tall green glass vase of tapering cylindrical form and a cobalt blue glass bowl with a ruffled handkerchief rim. One blue glass vase features a white cased interior with polychrome floral decoration in the style of Italian Murano glass, resembling the work of Creazioni Silvestri. The lot further contains a blue glass vessel with a textured swirled pattern, a thick-walled purple glass bowl or votive holder, and several clear glass vessels and stemware bases. Techniques represented include blown, moulded, frosted, and cased glass. No maker marks or signatures were observed during inspection.
The items are in generally good condition with surface dust and minor wear consistent with age and use. Some pieces exhibit light surface scratches or small nicks commensurate with being stored as a mixed group.
