This collection comprises an assortment of natural marine specimens presented in a circular brown woven wicker tray. The specimens include a large, smooth cream-coloured Melon or Baler shell of the Melo species, a Tiger Cowrie (Cypraea tigris) with distinctive dark brown and tan spotting, and a Queen Conch (Aliger gigas) featuring a pinkish-orange interior aperture. Also present is an orange-red fan-shaped Pectinid shell, a spiralled Turban shell of the Turbo species with purple-red spotted patterns, and various other gastropod shells including spindle and murex-type forms. A weathered white coral fragment is also included. Note that the Queen Conch (Aliger gigas) is a species listed under CITES Appendix II. The entire arrangement is secured within the basket under a clear plastic film. A white rectangular inventory sticker with the printed numbers 18 18 is adhered to the surface of the melon shell, and an orange sticker with the handwritten number 25 is present on the plastic film.

The specimens are in good overall condition, displaying natural variations, textures, and minor weathering typical of organic marine material. A white adhesive sticker is applied directly to the surface of the largest shell. The wicker basket and protective plastic film are intact.
