This lot comprises an assortment of worldwide stamps housed within albums, stock pages, and a decorative box. Issuing authorities represented include the UK, Jamaica, DE (Deutsches Reich), RO (R.P. Romana), HU (Magyar Posta), CA, IT, NL, Malaya (Persekutuan Tanah Melayu), Northern Rhodesia, and CH (Helvetia). The collection features a UK 1986 RAF Commanders set, 1966 Battle of Hastings commemoratives, and 1970 British Commonwealth Games issues. A significant portion is dedicated to Jamaican philately from the mid-20th century, including definitive and commemorative series from the reigns of George VI and Elizabeth II. Also present is a German inflation-period 1 Million surcharge on a 1000 Mark issue. The stamps are primarily perforated and include both mint sets and used examples with various postal cancellations. Used stamps exhibit a range of cancellations from light circular date stamps to heavier machine cancels. Mint stamps appear to include never hinged examples, though some older issues may possess hinge marks. Minor faults such as occasional short perforations, light toning, or creases may be present on loose stamps. The albums and storage containers show signs of age and shelf wear.
