This lot comprises a collection of vintage American comic books from the Silver and Bronze Ages, primarily published by DC Comics (National Periodical Publications) and Marvel Comics Group. The collection includes The Flash number 194 (February 1970) featuring cover art attributed to Neal Adams and Dick Giordano; The Atom number 10 (December 1963 / January 1964) with cover art by Gil Kane and Murphy Anderson, featuring a 10 cent price variant; Detective Comics number 362 (April 1967) and number 371 (January 1968), the latter being an early appearance of the Silver Age Batgirl (Barbara Gordon); and Marvel Comics Daredevil number 25 (February 1967), which marks the first appearance of Leap-Frog (Vincent Patilio). The comics are in as found condition, unslabbed and without individual protective bags or boards. Conditions generally range from Poor to Good. Observed defects include spine stress, spine rolling, edge creasing, corner blunting, and edge chipping. The Flash number 194 has a notable circular ink mark on the central figure. The Atom number 10 shows heavy creasing, significant edge fraying, and spine wear. Detective Comics number 371 exhibits heavy creasing on the lower right corner and edge chipping. Daredevil number 25 appears in fair to good condition with minor corner wear and light surface soiling. Potential buyers are advised to inspect the lot in person to assess the extent of interior damage or page quality.
