Lot 17: A Collection of Mid-20th Century Industrial Galvanised Steel Storage Drawers
A collection of heavy-duty industrial storage drawers constructed from galvanised sheet metal. Each unit features a rectangular form with a characteristic dull grey mottled finish. The drawers are equipped with robust iron pull handles and integrated metal label holders. One drawer contains a handwritten paper label inscribed BRUSHES and another is marked CA. The units are designed for modular use within a workshop, factory, or garage environment. Small orange stickers numbered 17 and white stickers numbered 3 3 are present on the exterior surfaces. The construction appears to be formed sheet metal with iron or steel hardware.
Condition report:
The items exhibit a heavy industrial patina consistent with age and functional use. There is widespread surface oxidation and mottling to the galvanised coating. The iron handles and label holders show significant surface rust and corrosion. Various scuffs, scratches, and minor dents are present across the metal bodies.
