This group of ceramic tableware is constructed from stoneware or durable earthenware. The collection includes a large oval platter and three circular lidded bowls. Each bowl features twin side-handles and a lid with a central circular finial. The decoration consists of a stylised botanical transfer-printed design depicting ears of grain in shades of teal, brown, and green. The platter is finished with a speckled cream glaze, a teal-coloured rim, and a pale blue wavy linear motif. The lidded bowls have white bodies with matching botanical motifs and are topped with solid teal-glazed lids. No maker marks or factory stamps are visible on the base or body of the items. The style is characteristic of British commercial pottery from the late 20th century.
