A group of glazed ceramic items comprising a tree-trunk-form vessel and several tortoise figurines. The vessel is modelled with a realistic textured bark effect and finished in a variegated brown glaze. The tortoises are of varying sizes and glaze finishes, including monochromatic tan and mottled brown with darker highlights. While no factory marks are visible on the items, the designs and glazes are characteristic of 20th-century British decorative pottery, specifically the Woodland range produced by SylvaC.
Condition report:
The items appear to be in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. Fine crazing is visible to the glaze, which is consistent with the age and nature of British art pottery.
