Lot 133: A Georgian Style Mahogany Fretwork Wall Mirror
A wall mirror in the Chippendale style featuring a stained wood frame with pierced and scrolled fretwork borders. The frame is constructed with mahogany veneers and houses a rectangular mirror plate with a bevelled edge. The design includes a shaped cresting and apron with scrolling silhouettes characteristic of mid-18th-century English furniture. A small orange inventory sticker numbered 133 is present on the lower corner of the frame.
Condition report:
The frame shows minor surface wear and light scratches consistent with age and use. The mirror plate is intact with a bevelled edge, showing some surface dust and minor areas of foxing or silvering loss visible near the edges.
