Lot 126: A Pair of Glazed Porcelain Figurines of Women in Period Dress Lladro
A pair of glazed porcelain figurines depicting women in period costume. The first figure is standing, wearing a white bonnet, a grey bodice, and a long light-brown skirt, positioned beside a stylised tree stump. The second figure is seated in a high-backed chair, wearing a white bonnet and a blue-grey bodice with a ruffled collar. Her white apron features a pattern of stylised floral medallions in muted pink and grey tones, and she is depicted holding a piece of lace or needlework. Both pieces are finished in a soft, pastel-toned glaze with elongated proportions and refined facial features, in the style of the Spanish manufacturer Lladró. No factory marks or signatures are visible on the exterior of the pieces.
Condition report:
Both figurines appear to be in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or professional restoration. There is a small white adhesive sticker with the number 11 on the apron of the seated figure, and both pieces have small orange lot stickers attached. A detailed inspection of the fingers and the ornate back of the chair is recommended to confirm the absence of minor losses.
