Lot 122: Three Spanish Glazed Porcelain Figurines of Girls with Geese ( Lladro )
A trio of glazed porcelain figurines produced in the Spanish style, featuring a muted colour palette of grey, taupe, cream, and white. The collection comprises three depictions of young girls in rustic attire, each accompanied by a goose. The first figure depicts a girl wearing a white headscarf, grey bodice, and tan apron, standing with her hands on her hips and looking down at a goose inside a bucket. The second figure is a slender girl in a white headscarf and grey bodice in a walking pose with a goose at her feet. The third figure features a girl in a white headscarf and grey bodice carrying a basket of flowers with a goose standing at her side. The slender proportions and high-gloss finish are characteristic of the work of Spanish manufacturers such as Lladro or Nao. No maker marks are visible on the upper surfaces of the bases.
Condition report:
The figurines appear to be in good decorative condition. No chips or losses are visible on the delicate extremities, such as the fingers, flower petals, or the beaks and wings of the geese. There are no obvious signs of repair or restoration. Each piece bears an orange adhesive tag.
