A pair of figurines in the neoclassical style, manufactured from a matte-finished white material with a textured surface, consistent with a cast composite or bisque ceramic. The first figure depicts a standing female nude in a classical pose with partial drapery, after the sculpture titled Slave by Giacomo Ginotti. The second figure depicts a group of two entwined figures in a dynamic pose, after the classical Greek Wrestlers. Both figurines are mounted on integral bases. No maker’s marks, signatures, or factory stamps are visible; the items bear adhesive auction labels numbered 1818 and 104.
Condition report:
Both figurines are in good overall condition. There is visible surface dust and minor brownish discolouration in the recessed areas of the moulding. No major chips, cracks, or professional repairs are evident.
